Four days a week we look at a letter.We learn it's name and what sound it makes. The children understand that to be able to write and read these letters are important to know. During reading time we explore various activities that help us to learn the letter and sound. This week we looked at Ll. We painted lighthouses on newspapers covered in letters.
Our letters also link with our topic 'The Beach'. We drew around our feet for footprints in the sand for Ff.
